Body Conditioning

The "Body Conditioning" class is a hybrid toning class which features aspects of Zumba Toning™ and Zumba Sentao® and other renowned fitness programmes. Each class has been carefully choreographed to ensure a fully integrated workout which focuses on key muscle groups, e.g. triceps, glutes and abdominals, as well as the core and balance. 

What equipment do I need to bring to the class?

Light hand weights or dumbells (no more than 3lbs), a resistance band with handles and an exercise mat or thick towel for floor work.

Can anybody attend this class?

This class is open to everyone, no previous dance or Zumba class experience necessary. If you have any known medical or physical conditions you should consult your GP before undertaking a new exercise program. He/she will let you know if a Body Conditioning is appropriate for you. You need to seek your GP's approval for the following conditions before participating in a Body Conditioning class:

  • Joint problems, tendonitis, bursitis or other orthopedic limitations
  • High blood pressure
  • Increased risk of stroke or heart attack

Where can I find a class?

There is a 30 minute 'express' session in Northwood Hills. The details are as follows:

  • Tuesday at 8.00 - 8.30pm: Northwood Hills United Reformed Church, Joel Street HA6 1NL

How much does it cost to attend a class?

30 minutes: £3.50 per session or £15 for a 5 week block booking.

Do I need to pre-book?

Yes. This class is held subject to minimum numbers. Please contact me for further details.
